Terms of Service
Last updated: September 24, 2026 • Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JSONForge (accessible at https://jsonforge.pro), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Nature of the Service & Local Processing
JSONForge provides browser-based developer utilities for formatting, validating, diffing, scoring health, and converting JSON documents into various programming language models (TypeScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, YAML, XML, and CSV).
All data transformation occurs strictly within your web browser client using client-side Web Workers and JavaScript. We do not store, view, or retain copies of user documents on remote servers.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use JSONForge only for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Attempt to compromise, disrupt, or attack the security, availability, or integrity of the website infrastructure (including denial-of-service attacks).
- Scrape, spider, or harvest content or services in a manner that exceeds normal usage limits or interferes with other users' access.
- Reverse engineer or disassemble proprietary scripts or circumvent client-side security measures.
4. Intellectual Property & Your Content Ownership
Your Data Belongs to You: JSONForge claims absolutely zero ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights over any JSON payloads, schemas, models, or data structures you input into or generate with our tools.
Website Assets: The website design, layout, brand names, visual styling, logo mark, and underlying documentation are the intellectual property of JSONForge and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
JSONForge is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation. While we strive for extreme precision and test our parsers thoroughly against RFC 8259, you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any generated code, schemas, or converted data before using them in production systems.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall JSONForge, its creators, maintainers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, profits, business interruption, or system outages) arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the website or its tools.
7. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When updates occur, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will be revised. Continued use of the website following any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
